We had a sonogram done and a doctor visit this week. WE are very happy to know that our little guy is 100% perfect according to our doctor. He has all of his anatomy (no abnormalities) as he should, his heart and brain look good, and he is measuring exactly average for his "age" so far. This is a relief as all parents wonder and hope that their kids will be born healthy and happy :) The doctor let us know that he is weighing in at 3lbs 14oz. He thinks that Benjamin will be approximately 7 1/2 lbs when he is born. So we shall see.......
We also signed up for our birthing class for April (3 Thursday nights) which Jose is not too excited to attend. He hates the discovery channel and the birth shows so this should be interesting to take him too. But he has been a trooper so far fulfilling all his daddy duties so I am sure he will do this as well with a smile (even though he could think of 100 other places to be).
A few pics above are the baby's profile and his waving hand and the other of his face. The sonogram does not do his cute little face justice. He has chubby little cheeks and a round chin. The lady who did the sonogram also told us that he definitely has hair.. I can't wait to meet our handsome little man.
